Centro Veneto Ricercae Innovazione Per La Sanita Digitale Consorzio

Arsenàl.IT is the eHealth competence and research centre of the Veneto Region, formed in 2005 as a consortium of the 23 Local Health Authorities and Hospital Trusts.  Arsenàl.IT seeks to improve the clinical processes and citizens services, and to assist its members to use their resources more efficiently and manage change. It develops eHealth applications that serve the entire region, and advances standardization, systems interoperability, innovation research, procurement engineering and training.

Arsenàl.IT has collaborated with IHE to define and apply IHE profiles in many European and regional projects on telemonitoring and telemedicine services, digitisation of clinical reports, and e-prescription.  Arsenàl.IT also participated in several international and national projects related to the management of chronic conditions and in patient empowerments. In 2012, the Veneto Region put Arsenàl.IT in charge of developing a regional electronic health record, to be delivered by 2016.
